Bend Studio Designers Thank Players Who Already Claimed Days Gone on PS Plus
Bend Studio Designers Thank Players - John Garvin's statement as the writer of Days Gone regarding the game, which was free for free on PS Plus, actually received a bad response from his fans. According to him, one of the reasons Days Gone 2 was canceled was because many players did not buy Days Gone 1 at full-price, so he felt uncomfortable with players buying the game at a discount or getting it through the monthly PS Plus prize.
In contrast to Garvin's opinion, Days Gone's lead designer, Eric Jensen, thanked the fans for playing the game. He also doesn't care if the game is purchased at full price, obtained at a discount, through free PS Plus, borrowing with friends, or maybe watching other people play. He conveyed his appreciation through his Twitter account.
This message is very contrary to Garvin's statement because he thinks that the reason for the cancellation of Days Gone 2 is due to the lack of support from the players. He also compared the game to God of War which he said received more attention than Days Gone.
Responding to this, Eric Jensen also considers that support for the game does not depend on how the player buys it. He stated that just watching the gameplay on Youtube was enough to give appreciation and support to the developers from Bend Studio.
Despite all the problems, Days Gone is still a success financially. This success has also reached popularity until the game is made for a PC version which will be released soon on 18 May.
