Enjoying sidescrolling games made by indie studios certainly provides a very diverse playing experience. This is because of the many brilliant ideas that were sparked by the studio with a small number of people.

One such unique sidescrolling game is Steel Rats by Tate Multimedia. This stunt bike racing action game with vehicular combat elements packaged in a 2.5D format invites players to eradicate robots in order to protect the city with their motorbikes.
