Wasteland 3 Announces First Expansion, Released in June

Wasteland 3 was released last August to both fans and critics alike for its deep and complex RPG gameplay. Almost 8 months after its release, the game from InXile Entertainment was confirmed to have a story expansion.

 

Brian Fargo, founder of the studio and director of Wasteland 3 explained that the third game from the previous Fallout franchise will get 2 paid expansions which will add new mechanics, non-lethal systems, more status effects, and various other content.

Not only planning to add paid content, InXile will also add some new content to the main game such as Ranger HQ missions, additional audio, and more music to listen to.

The first expansion, entitled The Battle of Steeltown, has been announced, and is scheduled for release this summer. This first expansion will invite you and the Ranger team to investigate the Steeltown factory area where all employees are on strike and are trapped in the factory area. You as the leader of the Ranger must determine the fate of the factory through your decision.

The Battle of Steeltown will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC via Steam, GOG and the Microsoft Store on June 3.
