Uncharted 4 for PC and PS5 Possible Release Without Multiplayer Mode

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is a remaster of Uncharted 4 along with the standalone expansion The Lost Legacy. Not only released for PS5, this remaster is also coming to PC, making it the franchise's first debut to enter platforms outside of Sony's.

As you'd expect from the remaster, this collection will come with updated visuals, not so drastic but making better use of the hardware that the PS5 and PC have. Unfortunately this collection will lose one mode, namely multiplayer mode.

According to a new classification from rating agency ESRB, the collection will slide without “interactive elements” which is an expression for online features where players can interact with other users.

Seeing as Uncharted always prioritizes campaign content over multiplayer, the release of online mode is a little understandable.

But it may still be a pity for PC and PS5 gamers not to get it seeing the multiplayer mode of this game is not bad at all. It's far from the competitive scale of esports and also more niche than other multiplayer game modes, but at least it's still a fun mode after completing 20-25 hours of story content in total.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has yet to get a definite release schedule, but it is planned to launch in early 2022 for PC and PS5.
