In 6 days, PUBG Mobile has banned more than 1.2 million accounts that are proven to use cheats

Tencent as the owner of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) doesn't seem to mess with the cheaters in his game. They don't even hesitate to take action in the form of suspension / banning of millions of accounts if needed.

In 6 days, PUBG Mobile has banned more than 1.2 million accounts that are proven to use cheats

This can be seen in the report they released some time ago through their official account on the Twitter platform.

In the official report on the PUBG Mobile Twitter account, they announced that they had just permanently banned 1,217,342 accounts after being proven to have committed acts of fraud.

They banned these accounts within six days (January 8 to January 14, 2021) due to various frauds.

According to the report, 48% of accounts had to be banned for using auto-aim cheats or changing their character models. Then, 22% was proven to use X-ray vision, 12% for using a speed hack, and 7% for modifying the damage area. According to the report, this is the rank composition of the banned accounts:

    Bronze: 38%
    Silver: 11%
    Gold: 9%
    Platinum: 11%
    Diamond: 12%
    Crown: 10%
    Ace: 6%
    Conqueror: 3%

Not only that, today PUBG Mobile also starts Runic Power, which is the 17th season. There are new patches for the game that come with new weapons, new modes, and more. The new mode provides players with several new abilities.

Maybe there are some people who are surprised because PUBG Mobile has succeeded in taking action against 1.2 million player accounts.

However, in fact it's only a small part considering that currently PUBG Mobile has more than 600 million active players around the world. Thus, 1.2 million accounts are only 0.2% of the total players from PUBG itself.
