With Oddworld: Soulstorm due out in the next few days, many PC gamers are curious about the specifications needed to run the newest game from the series that started in 1997. The good news is, the PC specifications for Oddworld: Soulstorm have been officially announced.

 

 

Not only that, the good news also continues with the fact that Oddworld: Soulstorm doesn't demand high specifications. This makes sense considering that the game by Oddworld Inhabitants does indeed carry the 2.5D platformer genre which is known to be friendly to specifications and comes with visuals that are not too grandiose.

The fact that Oddworld: Soulstorm can run on the Windows 7 operating system indicates that games built using Unity are designed to run on as many PCs as possible, including those with limited specifications. PCs with 4-5 years of age at least can still be invited to play Oddworld: Soulstorm.

Oddworld: Soulstorm itself is a continuation game from Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! which was released in 2014 ago. Abe will still be the main protagonist with a mission to save his race - the Mudokons from slavery. Not without something new, Oddworld: Soulstorm comes with a new crafting system where Abe can create and customize a variety of different weapons.

Apart from PC via the Epic Games Store, Oddworld: Soulstorm will also be released on PS4 and PS5 on April 6.
